The Team
Cat Raincock
Cat is a women's well-being coach, hypnotherapist, yoga Nidra and breathwork facilitator.
Her own personal journey involves having two children and a meltdown, which led to training as a hypnotherapist, nurturing her passion to understand herself and her mind.
In nearly a decade of practice she has worked with plant medicines in the Peruvian jungle, jumped off freezing waterfalls with Wim Hof, and held 100 person breathwork sessions in the fields of Kent.
She now incorporates breathwork in all her coaching client sessions to release blocks.
When she isn't in session she can be found holding retreats in Kent, supporting women to birth and activating women's fertility.
Her motto is "it all starts in the mind - if we can make friends with our subconscious mind, life becomes a lot easier."
Dave Waring
Dave began a mindful practice in 2011 that soon led to an MSc in Mindfulness, where his research explored its impact into dance performance preparation.
This was closely related to nearly two decades of a freelance career in contemporary dance, performing, choreographing and teaching. Roles as Artistic Director and Programme Leader, meant he supported students in deepening and interrogating their performance and creative skills, technical practice and artistry.
Introducing a mindfulness practice into his teaching offered tools to help students focus on being more present and kinder to themselves in their goal-driven environment.
When leading sessions, Dave focuses on the non-judgemental, self-compassion and self-acceptance aspects of mindful meditation and believes mindfulness can lead us back home and offer us opportunities to relate to ourselves and the work in a more balanced and loving way.
Fay Macdonald
Fay is a creative facilitator, event and retreat designer and producer.
She is talented with words, ideas and engagement and works with clients and partners across Marketing, Events, Content Creation and Writing.
She is especially interested in supporting inspiring organisations in their quest to develop their values and voice; to work with them on how to better understand the important role of authentic stories, social communities and human relationships in the messages they share and how to communicate them effectively, sustaining a compelling dialogue with relevant audiences.
She has over 25-years of communications experience in a range of creative, corporate, commercial and not-for-profit environments in large and small organisations across the Television, Travel, Cultural, Creative and Digital Media industries.
She is an ideas powerhouse, a creative maverick with 'big picture' vision, an extraordinary networker and an incredibly skilled organiser. At the same time, she is an intuitive empath, a keen observer of people, noticing the details that matter and how people like to connect.
Fay has worked for herself for many years, often pursuing ideas and projects based on her own life journey, personal interests and inspirations. These include; running retreats for burnt-out mums and their babies, designing events with personalities like Heston Blumenthal and co-founding a street art and graffiti agency working with amazing artists, big brands and some unruly kids.
She has huge personal interest in wellbeing, the importance of connection and the role of ritual in a modern society. This, combined with an ingrained desire to unite like-minded people, allows her to design meaningful, shared experiences, so she is thrilled to be supporting Cath and Fin in helping to bring the DREAM AWAKE vision and this retreat, to life.
Fay feels an innate connection to both the ocean and its wildlife and embraces the benefits of 'blue spaces' wherever possible. She definitely wants to be a mermaid in her next life.
